Memorial Day

I scheduled myself a ‘no work’ day. Still, I woke up at 5:15 AM. Still, I lugged my camera, cooler and all. Still, I drove to the beach as if I were to be shooting an early morning session. Still, I took lots and lots of pictures. Still, stopped at the same Starbucks I always do and had the same drink I order every morning. And I still…. have no tan. I needed a couple of days to regroup my thoughts and charge up to go at it again. This morning the sun rose over the horizon like it wanted to play peek-a-boo with the clouds. It was magical. Tomorrow I will share more pictures. Because today, I’m still technically off.

P.S. Seagulls don’t like granola.
